Recently, I’ve been interviewed with 20+ companies, there are some interesting & good common questions that I would like to share…
Interesting Part
1. Is there any benefactors in your life? Can you share an example and tell us why he/she is important for you?
2. Can you give me an example of any conflicts/disagreement happened between you and other colleagues?(→ this is common, but the following are good questions!)
- If you could do it again, what would you do to avoid the conflicts or improve the communication?
- What reasons do you think may cause the conflicts?
- As the reasons you mentioned, do you think the method you thought of can help?
3. What are the highest philosophy of how you define/create a roadmap?
4. If you’re explaining “product management process” to a friend who is not familiar with it, how would you introduce to help them understand?
5. If you’re explaining “API”to a friend who is not familiar with it, how would you introduce to help them understand?
Good but Common Part
1. What is your favorite product/tool?
- What are the main value that this product provide with users?
- If you’re improving this product, what features will you add on it?
- How do you define the success of the features?
2. How would you differentiate company goals and user goals?
Just simply share the question first, heading out to help a friend’s proposal. If you guys have any good answer, feel free to leave your comment below. Or, may share my answer later XD
